Re: no news I contacted Duncan Lewis via LinkedIn - no special relationship, I just searched for him on LinkedIn after picking up his name from the JQW site.He no longer responds to my messages, presumably as he no longer has any relationship with JQW.Was your contact a different NED?

Re: no news If you wish to share an email address with me, I would be happy to share the contact details I had for one of them whilst I was an investor (on the proviso you didn't publish them anywhere). Might be the same tel / email you already have.

Re: no news I might see if I can get a response from the NED I contacted (if he hasn't resigned now), who said that the NEDs were looking at a way to improve the share liquidity for small investors......---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----Sadly, no reply from the NED - probably because they are no longer NEDs.......

Re: no news For heavens sake JQW plc was a FRAUD from the start. It has netted millions for the Chinese shareholders;it only failed to the extent that the net amount defrauded was less than they hoped because the sheer quantity of China Frauds on AIM and other markets meant that potential investors ran a mile.

Re: no news My own take is that from the point of view of the company in China they regard themselves as being very ill served by the market in London. They were probably promised riches, and all manner of benefits for the company, and instead it has been a disaster. The Chinese JQW website has still as its headline story in the "news" section the listing in London. Other more up to date news and articles are put on every month, but the LSE listing remains the headline.Of course, JQW has made mistakes also such as the dividend policy, FD resigning and not trying to stop the selling by original holders. The recent news over the GM, is I suspect a way for the company of trying to get out of paying the NED's.They were (are) on £12K per month in total. No doubt Cairn and Abchurch were on similar, and so far as the company were concerned they have seen very little return on probably what was £20K+ being shovelled towards London every month.Quite possibly the NED's (and Abchurch) weren't paid at the end of last month (- I have no evidence for this but it would explain the lack of sensible response from Abchurch). When it was pointed out to the company that they couldn't be simply sacked without due procedure, the company has sought to backdate everything, so as to avoid a January payment, but omitted to notice that the pdf's were dated 15th February. All a bit worrying from a governance point of view, to say the least. However jqw.com is still up and running and is still ranked around 130 in China and 1300 in the world on Alexa. Has it all gone down the pan for investors in London? Quite possibly, although it does beg the question - why put anything on the jqw-ir website at all? I suppose it all depends on what is the long term intention of the directors in China.

Re: no news What conclusions do you draw from that? Cloak and dagger? Underhand activity? Can't get any sensible response from the company or their PR arm

Re: no news A Form of Proxy has now appeared on the Shareholder Information page of jqw-ir, relating to the alleged GM on 26th January 2016.It wasn't on the website prior to today. This document was created by one b catney on 15th February 2016 at 11.12.

Re: no news Interesting to note that the document entitled "Notice of General Meeting" dated 11th January 2016 on the shareholder information page at jqw-ir concerning the "General Meeting" on 26th January 2016 was only actually created on 15th February 2016 at 01.53.

Re: no news If you look at the corporate news page on the jqw IR site, you'll see that the non execs were ousted by the founding shareholders on 26th Jan.

Re: no news Not that I've seen, although I haven't checked recently. Last time I looked the JQW investor site was the same as when we were on AIM and both trading sites were up and running, so business as usual there.I might see if I can get a response from the NED I contacted (if he hasn't resigned now), who said that the NEDs were looking at a way to improve the share liquidity for small investors......

Ripley94 15 Feb 2016

no news from anywhere ?

Re: What now Yes, both sites still up and running, so a business still exists. Would be nice if jqw-ir site was updated to show the current position..................

Re: What now I accept that one of the IPO's purposes appears to have been to enable certain pre-IPO Investors to realise their holdings acquired at a fraction of the IPO price. This seems to be a regular occurrence where Mircle YAP is involved, his Malaysian father Dato YAP controlling one of these investment companies and other Malaysian's like Lin Geok Tin, also involved. YAP also appears responsible for bringing a number of Chinese Companies to the Frankfurt and Warsaw Exchanges, with similar investors, purposes and outcomes.Nevertheless, JQW's main website is still up and running and what I take to be the New Year banner appears to have been added on 6 Jan this year. Somewhere there is still a genuine business. According to Alexa, the search traffic on the main website has also resumed from 1 Jan at Oct 2015 levels.
