Re: Fall That’s much more than thedividend amount. Other house builders have fallen as well though perhaps not quite so much. IMHO it’s a sector thing related to current news from the industry.

Nice work if you can get it With the exception of the new CEO, the management that entered into the construction contracts that have wiped out seven years of construction division gains and failed to provide for them until this year, are being rewarded with another chunk of options for which they pay nothing, and are another bonus for just doing the job that they are well paid to do. The higher dividend this year has not been earned by the profits and it will be surprising if the housing boom has peaked - Pidgeon of Berkeley selling shares is the best signal one could get. Time to sell I think

Re: Nice work- if you can get it.! Pearlsasinger. No problem with this as the 3 year lock in with conditions should align our interests. That progressive dividend policy is a touch more secure with profit targets to hit.All the best.

On 22 September 2017 the following conditional awards over ordinary shares of 50 pence in Galliford Try plc (the "Company" were granted under the Galliford Try plc Long Term Incentive Plan 2016 to persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMR"DMR No. of shares under the Award P Truscott 39,118 G Prothero 29,339 K Corbett 17,409 A Hammond 22,123 B Hocking 24,644 T Nicholson 22,123 S Teagle 21,017The shares are for Nil consideration but will not vest until 3 years time and aresubject to certain profit/earnings achievements.I hope the incentives work.
