Re: Don't be a mug Had a reply from the Takover Panel:"Dragon Oil plc is an Irish company and it is therefore not within our jurisdiction. Rather, it is within the jurisdiction of the Irish Takeover Panel"So I have refered the matter to the Irish Takeover Panel at:[email protected]

Re: Don't be a mug [link] 29 Jul'15 - 11:22 - 50442 of 50452 0 0 editguy_fawkes,From your FSA post it would appear that ENOC are acting against the law. As such I have contacted BG,Setanta & Elliot with regard your posting. guy_fawkes 29 Jul'15 - 128 - 50444 of 50452 0 0 fido that is my understanding of ENOC's actions and intent with information from the FCA website. fido 29 Jul'15 - 12:15 - 50445 of 50452 0 0 editguy_fawkes,That`s certainly the way the fsa regulations read. Like I said, I have contacted BG,Setanta & Elliot with the same information. I do not expect a reply but at least they have been informed. Its a bit late in the day for me to raise the issue with the fsa now but I`m sure the issue will be raised in any post NO discussions between major investors and ENOC. fido 29 Jul'15 - 13:45 - 50446 of 50452 0 0 edit"If a “competitive situation” (as defined by the Takeover Rules) arises after a “no extension” and/or“no increase” statement (as defined by the Takeover Rules) has been made by or on behalf of ENOCin relation to the Offer (as determined by the Panel), ENOC may, if it specifically reserved the rightto do so at the time such statement is made, or otherwise with the Panel’s consent, withdraw suchstatement and be free to extend and/or increase the Offer (as appropriate) provided that it complieswith the requirements of the Takeover Rules" dragon2go 29 Jul'15 - 13:59 - 50447 of 50452 0 0 Maybe you could contact the takeover panel and remind them of their duty in this matter. fido 29 Jul'15 - 14:19 - 50449 of 50452 0 0 editdragon2go,The biggest joke is that Ahmad Al Muhairbi was hired by ENOC in the first place. He then sat on Dragons independent committee where he agreed the Dragon takeover and then got himself a nice little directorship back with ENOC.You really could not make it up could you.www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/109255/dragon-oil-director-hired-by-enoc-leaves-independent-panel-109255.html fido 29 Jul'15 - 14:33 - 50450 of 50452 0 0 editdragon2go,Just sent a couple of quick emails to the FSA and The Takeover Panel.I will see what response I get. spob 29 Jul'15 - 14:40 - 50451 of 50452 0 0 Does this takeover fall within the remit of the FCA given it's an irish listed stock ? fido 29 Jul'15 - 15:31 - 50452 of 50452 0 0 editDragon also has a Premium listing on the LSE which is what the FSA regulations refer to.PS. Elliot have taken another 420,000 taking them to 5.86%

Interim dividend Can we expect an announcement next week?

Fydo 29 Jul 2015

Re: Don't be a mug My reading of the fsa regulations would indicate that ENOC are breaking the law in this instance. It`s a bit late for me to raise the issue with the FSA with the vote tomorrow but I have forwarded the same information onto BG, Setanta and Elliot which they can use in any post NO talks with ENOC.

Re: Don't be a mug From ADVFN.guy_fawkes 29 Jul'15 - 09:28 - 50439 of 50439 0 0 hxxp://www.fca.org.uk/news/the-fca-strengthens-the-listing-rules-to-enhance-protection-for-shareholders"The FCA’s enhancements to the premium listed regime include:•Ensuring listed companies are run independently of their controlling shareholders, including measures that give independent shareholders a veto over transactions between listed companies and a controlling shareholder when this independence is threatened.•Requiring separate approval of independent directors by independent shareholders, in addition to gaining approval from shareholders as a whole.•Enhanced voting power for minority shareholders where a company with a controlling shareholder seeks to cancel its listing or remove minority shareholders’ rights.•Requiring greater transparency for listed companies to ensure shareholders have the information they need to exercise their voting rights. The same feedback also prompted the FCA to consult on additional enhancements to the listing rules. It intends to implement the full package of measures in mid-2014."

Re: Don't be a mug PGI So ENOC values Dragon Oil Shares at less than a pint of lager in UAE

Persian Gulf Investor 28 Jul 2015

Re: Don't be a mug Petrol might be cheap but I'm paying 8 quid for a pint of lager, 70 quid for a bottle of cheap plonk and 60 grand year in rent.

Fydo 28 Jul 2015

Re: Don't be a mug Elliot have now moved up to 5.78% with the addition of a further 155,000 shares.

Fydo 28 Jul 2015

Re: Don't be a mug Which means that prior to the hike, petrol was 30pence a litre, and ENOC are now making a profit on that.

Fydo 28 Jul 2015

Re: Don't be a mug After a 24% leap in petrol prices, the price for a litre of fuel has now rocketed to 37 pence a litre.Wow, I feel really sorry for them.
