Re: Share Price For the number of shares you have it is not worth the hassle, it would be better to sell now and invest in something else if you wish. That is what I would do. DYOR.

Re: Share Price My wife has a small number(530) of paper shares worth about £400 at present I have been trying to find out how the new Liberty share will be held , whether we will get paper shares or will be held through a Nominee , as its not clear in the Scheme Document. I enquired to the number given for queries , which is actually Equiniti , but the said they will be held by Comutershare , who have said they will be managed by their US office .I suspect we will be saddled with expensive dealing costs, particular as there will be 2 types of share.I think I will transfer the shares to our III account, where we should be able to deal for £10, but not sure if we will lose the 3p divi. any body else know of anything ?

Re: Rise Sp 62p to 78p in 3 weeks, yet no comments from anyone.I guess day traders have jumped this ship already.Could it be a counter bid or a cash offer rumours???

Re: Share Price I'd have to agree Schwee, I hate all-share offers as the value is meaningless. It is especially unattractive when it is not a LSE placed company that is giving us their paper. On that subject, does anyone know if their is likely to be an underwritten option to immediately sell the Liberty shares if/when this deal goes through. For my own reasons, I am happy to be shot of the relatively small shareholdings I control that have been part of messy inheritances. It would help tidy up a couple of loose ends even if the offer isn't that attractive. Guitarsolo

Re: Share Price It is not the buyers who should pull out, but the vendors. This is an all share deal where the paper of the buyer has collapsed by 25% or so since the announcement of the deal, There is no cash alternative. The Directors of CWC should correct the errors of their ways and pull out.

Re: Share Price Strange the 10p drop in the share price this week when you consider Mondays RNS indicated arounda 78p on the weekly assessment,Possibly the current market crash combined with the exchange rate is the culprit.Hope the buyers hav,nt found a good reason to pull out.

Share Price It seems all the day traders have jumped ship in good time, large drop in sp in the last few days and yet no comments from any one.

Liberty Global SP affects the value of theCWC SP on takeover I sold mine on the first offer day almost by accident as they were set to sell on automatic at 79.5.as payment for the shares is via liberty global shares and no cash I would receive around £364.00 less on the 15000 cwc shares that I held.I will be watching what happens to the proposed take over very closely!!!Todays value 29/12/2015At such illustrative Exchange Ratio and Alternative Exchange Ratio:· the consideration under the Recommended Offer would represent an indicative value of 77.07 pence per CWC Share (including the Special Dividend and using the Closing Price of Liberty Global Shares on 28 December 2015);

Re: going up..Now going down!! At such illustrative Exchange Ratio and Alternative Exchange Ratio:· the consideration under the Recommended Offer would represent an indicative value of 75.85 pence per CWC Share (including the Special Dividend and using the Closing Price of Liberty Global Shares on 18 December 2015);I sold out at just over 79p per share on an automated share trade set some time before the offer was announced....it erked at the time but not now!!

Re: You're right, it is complicated!My understanding is that the second and third options offer a purer play on Liberty's Latin American businesses, whereas the offer recommended by the CWC board is a (simple-ish) paper offer based on Liberty's overall business. I think all offers include the 3p cash dividend. I believe the alternatives have been structured to meet the interests of certain large shareholders who are willing to accept a notionally less valuable offer today in the hope of a better upside from a particular part of the business. However, to avoid accusations of unfair preference the offers have to be made to all CWC shareholders.Whichever option you are interested in, there is an ongoing exposure to the Liberty share price (albeit with a formula adjusting the exact number of shares we're being offered as well as the US$/£ xchabge rate to partly compensate for this.All told it's either "elegant" or "confusing" depending on your point of view. Personally, I find it helpful that we get a weekly mark from CWC telling us what the basic offer is worth in pence per share so we can form a view on whether to sell now at a discount or hold on until the middle of next year. Presumably this discount will get smaller over time unless something crops up that might prevent the deal going through.

"Offer Announcement" It still looks complicated to me!!!Illustrative calculations as at 30 November 2015If the Exchange Ratio Calculation Time were 30 November 2015 (being the date of this announcement), under the terms of the Transaction, the Exchange Ratio and the Alternative Exchange Ratio would be calculated such that:· under the Recommended Offer, CWC Shareholders would be entitled to receive, for each CWC Share, 0.008301 New Liberty Global Class A Ordinary Shares and 0.020321 New Liberty Global Class C Ordinary Shares, as well as the Special Dividend;· under the First Dual Share Alternative, CWC Shareholders would be entitled to receive, for each CWC Share, 0.005593 New Liberty Global Class A Ordinary Shares, 0.013693 New Liberty Global Class C Ordinary Shares, 0.002343 New LiLAC Class A Ordinary Shares and 0.005739 New LiLAC Class C Ordinary Shares, as well as the Special Dividend; and· under the Second Dual Share Alternative, CWC Shareholders would be entitled to receive, for each CWC Share 0.004601 New Liberty Global Class A Ordinary Shares, 0.011265 New Liberty Global Class C Ordinary Shares, 0.002343 New LiLAC Class A Ordinary Shares and 0.005739 New LiLAC Class C Ordinary Shares, as well as the Special Dividend.At such illustrative Exchange Ratio and Alternative Exchange Ratio:· the consideration under the Recommended Offer would represent an indicative value of 80.87 pence per CWC Share (including the Special Dividend and using the Closing Price of Liberty Global Shares on 27 November 2015);· the consideration under the First Dual Share Alternative would represent an indicative value of 75.71 pence per CWC Share (including the Special Dividend and using the Closing Price of Liberty Global Shares on 27 November 2015); and· the consideration under the Second Dual Share Alternative would represent an indicative value of 66.40 pence per CWC Share (including the Special Dividend and using the Closing Price of Liberty Global Shares on 27 November 2015),based on the following:· the Closing Price of $41.99 per Liberty Global Class A Ordinary Share on 27 November 2015;· the Closing Price of $40.51 per Liberty Global Class C Ordinary Share on 27 November 2015;· the Closing Price of $36.49 per LiLAC Class A Ordinary Share on 27 November 2015;· the Closing Price of $38.16 per LiLAC Class C Ordinary Share on 27 November 2015;· a volume weighted average price of $42.88 per Liberty Global Class A Ordinary Share over the 10-day period ending on and including 27 November 2015;· a volume weighted average price of $41.34 per Liberty Global Class C Ordinary Share over the 10-day period ending on and including 27 November 2015;· an exchange rate of 1.5047 USD per 1 GBP;· as at the close of business on 27 November 2015, CWC had 4,438,594,233 shares in issue and outstanding on a fully diluted basis;· the assumption that no CWC Shareholders who elect for the Recommended Offer also elect for the LiLAC Alternative.
