21% drop in share price I was surprised, to put it mildly, to see that the BNC share price had tanked by 21% today, but I’ve not been able to find any comment or news as to why this should be. At first I just assumed it was another example of ii’s incompetence, but on checking elsewhere it seems the drop is correct. Just in case anyone’s still bothering to read these boards has anyone any idea why this has happened?

Re: 20 minutes to go I think it proves that an economy can function fully well without a government.Hardly a democracy ruling with just 1/4 of the seats. Spain, has only functioned since the collapse of the housing market with massive help of the ECB, QE programme. It just goes to show that despite running huge budget deficits, this has little effect with the ordinary person.

Re: 20 minutes to go Rajoy's gone. Labour ruling now with only 1/4 of the seats and yet the IBEX is up 2% and Santander up 4%.In fact Spain's economy did best when they had that long period a while back without any party able to form a government.

20 minutes to go 20 minutes to the non-confidence vote, uncomfirmed rumours that Rajoy has resigned.DL

Another baby is smoking Look at Deutsche Bank’s CoCo bonds they are at it again, shares plunge to record low. When will she buckle? No wonder there are big shorts against these banks!!!!Also note RBS, they now spend over 1 billion a year on legal costs! No doubt Lloyds & the others don´t come too far behind.

Re: Santander price drop Uncle Doug, worry not, it's not down 22% however iii's headers are all over the place. Up 50% at 460 with a high of 404 and a low of 319 which neve happened. They would be better not trying to post prices if that is the best they can do. (Of course by the time you read this it will have changed)MoneyAM and google finance are far more reliabke as trading cues, and they in real time although free of charge. So what on earth iii think they are doing as any one's guess.
