Re: ummmm Good Morning gents, yes you're right I didn't see the RNS. I access the site via my phone and the "news" tab didn't have a number on it... oopsLet's see how big the damage is (on the trees), I'm still invested as I did like what I heard from management so far and they also grow a variety of fruit as well as having the production business. But I agree, a sustained recovery of the sp will now probably take longer.

Re: ummmm promise promise promise by some complete fluke I got out at 8.2p yesterday, I was making a grand on £2.5k purchase and thought the market may try and have that back as although tiny in percentage terms was whopping! Will look to go in again (as ever) but this problem seems difficult to fully analyse the impact so I think it could lurch for a while.........?!222

Re: ummmm yet more bad news that means very limited saleable production ... one would almost think that the Muddy Waters report had more truth than the company maintained at the time....

Re: ummmm Have you read the RNS?

Re: ummmm John, I think you spoke too early.26% drop today without news, I wonder if anyone knows anything?sp today: 6.125

Re: ummmm Well it looks as if the timeline for a decent improvement in the SP has just got considerably longer. The presence of Huanglongbing in 18% of the Xinfeng Plantation means that there will probably be virtually no profitable crop this year (any money made from the residual crop being eaten up by increased treatment costs). I suspect we may be looking at a replanting scenario of probably 50% of the trees, and costly chemical treatments may be needed to prevent further infection/re-infection.

Re: ummmm little bounce turning into a big bounce......bought some at around 5.5p so making around 50% on a small buy currentlyI LOVE THIS SHARE!HAHA! Joking tread carefully!

Re: hmmm Fundamentals don't matter in these situations its all sentiment and the management painting a bleak black picture..........this could go lower and stay there.........not great position to be in 'im sure its worth 20p' but its been 5p for years!I may dip in when it drops to 4.75-5.00 as you may see some bottom fishing activity........oooh matron.222

Re: hmmm 5.75 broke so now everything is possible, that's probably why you've seen a 5% drop this morning. Best to sit on the sidelines for now and see what happens (from a trading point of view). On fundamentals it's still a buy for me.

john222 23 Mar 2015

hmmm i think the dark forces will drive this a little lower maybe 5p then you might be able to make a few % watching waiting......................

Re: update That takes our total orange production for 2014-15 to 131k tonnes, down 33% from 2013-14 and down 40% from 2012-13. The combination of lower prices and lower production means the core loss for the full year is going to be around the £30m. Scary stuff. But at 6p it's all in the price.

DannyQSee 20 Mar 2015

update There is an RNS out today updating us that the summer crop is nearly 60% down and the price is over 30% down as well due to the poor appearance. At the same time we've got the brokers coming out with "hold" recommendations [link] Fitzgerald Europe‘s target price is GBX 10 (potential upside of 63.27%)Liberum Capital reiterated a “hold” rating and GBX 11 price target on March 9th.50-day moving average is GBX 6.88200-day moving average is GBX 9.34The shares hit 5.75 today which is an all time low and I'll mark this down as support, but if it breaches this it may well fall further without any support.I have no time-scale as to when this should move up, but I am happy with the business, the board appears to know what they are doing, we have a diversified portfolio (not just oranges) and there are three revenue streams. At these prices it's a cautious buy for me.sp today 5.875

Re: view I would like to think it's based now and is attempting to overcome the resistance at around 9p (which would be a near 50% increase in sp).I'm still happy with my position.

john222 11 Mar 2015

Re: view purely a gut feel but fortune oil has gone this way and been taken private feels like they might churn out all the bad news to 4.5-5p share then offer to take it off the market! Just doesn't feel like there is an angle to make money here for me at the moment.
