Re: What debt buyback? This article was posted on Wednesday from LPC. Depending on the tranche Yell's loans are quoted between 31-49...so they have risen...You also need to condiseder that the loan market works a little slower than the bond space. It is quite normal for loan buys/sales to take a week (if not more) to settle. So it will take the company time to get things sorted and signed/sealed.(LON) Yell starts second round of loan buy-back February 21, 2012 - Yellow pages publisher Yell Group will begin its second debt buy-back process on Wednesday to continue its efforts to reduce its 2.6 billion pound debt pile. Yell has 111.4 million pounds of cash available for further debt buy-backs after completing a first process during which it bought back debt with a face value of 137.5 million pounds at a 35 percent discount. The first buy-back resulted in an exceptional pre tax profit of 89.4 million pounds. The second buy-back process should conclude by March 2, the company said in a statement. Yell is going through a number of strategic changes to shift its declining print operations to digital. Lenders to Yell in December agreed -- among other things -- to provide more headroom on its net debt to earnings (EBITDA) covenant until 2014 and reduce the amount of its revolving credit facility to 75 million pounds from 172.6 million pounds. Next spike at any time! Do you really want to miss a great exit point before the next spike; if not, you should continue to hold! do really want to crystallise your exit now before the next big spike up? The volumes show I am not alone with my belief that there is money to be made in yell shares. Good luck. G |

Re: What debt buyback? This is silly cheap now, a move to just over 6p is a 40% rise in two weeks. Putting it that way it seems alot, maybe too much.Even though a have a large holding here, I now have to be honest im in selfish mode right now, sold my small holding in DXNS & BDEV & MANROY ,today so waiting for a bored investor to dump his/her shares that they bought sub 4p and move my extra fund in Yell. This share really not going to kick off properly till July,(Q1) but now iv got the spare cash I cant see many other options to buy now and sell just this small extra fund December this year - just in time for Christmas. - im looking for a small extra bonus. So waiting,, I dont want to put a buy limit in, you never get the amount of shares you want at the price you want - anyone out there bored or worried????? - anyone? - Jonny are u up for selling- your soup kitchen pass will expire soon.Sorry if I come across really selfish , im not that by nature. Im just looking to exploit the bored and worried. At least im honest Im going to take a break from posting for 2 or 3 weeks - but if fireworks start and the SP rise I will post a few lines like ha ha ha or told ya so etc...See ya all end of March Tax and Death |

Re: What debt buyback? I know it is very frustrating, but I do believe that the current "big cheeses" are deliberately, carefully, and cunningly being very precise in there communications, for the benefit of the company, and (hopefully) eventually for the shareholder. Just think close chest and poker face, wins the day every time....Patience ROBBAY |

What debt buyback? Forgive me if I sound a tad out of touch here but haven't been following my 'investment' in Yell that closely recently but surely if a company announces it will be buying back debt at a reduced rate on a set day it should in fact do as it stated? Even I, a long term believer, am starting to become a bit hacked off with this management's pathetic communication. Am I alone in thinking this way? YosemiteSam7 |

Re: lunar flyer In the 37 minutes you took to reply, at £2mil per day, another £51,389 has gone off the net debt, tick tock cha ching in our favour. Also, I find it curious that you refer to other people on here as hyenas, but since most of us are investors who don't day trade and you reckon to keep making money(untrue) must it not be the newbie day traders that you're making your money from? Who's really the hyena?Don't be bitter that you're not as wealthy as I am, be happy for other people's fortune. There are a gazillion people richer than me and I'm happy for them and hope they enjoy it.LJ LongJohn53 |

Re: lunar flyer Looking at his previous posts against Yell charts, it looks like he was invested long during the big plummet in Yells shareprice.Take a look for yourselves. He also seems to get progressively more aggressive and bitter ever since the huge drops begin. And he starts focusing on Yell more and more, unable to let go of his losses.I firmly believe he's been royally stung here, and that's why he can't let go and is so aggressive all the time with his superiority complex of "look how much money I have made" ellhans |

Re: lunar flyer beginning to sounds like charlie sheen in reversebe good to know how you reconcile ur old posts re yell being worth in the ££ with your "winning" mentality? i would also like to know how you can claim to be consistently "spot on" when a few months ago, according to urself, you were spot off....I think (hope) we can all agree that Monsieur Lunar has finally been completely exposed...i dont know whether I want him to leave though.... bernabo |

LunarFlyer Quote in 2011 Please take note of this everyone, a quote by LunarFlyer on 05/01/2011:"This is a good long term investment with massive potential at these prices! Even if it takes 10years to pay off the debt this could easily be back to the £s trading ranges! "" ellhans |

Lunar's Old Posts Let's start a 'Lunar's old posts' for fun.How about this one 1 year ago in January (2011) with a STRONG BUY rating by Lunar @ 15p:"It sounds to me like you (ACE) are just trying to pick up cheap shares to make your own profits! Information will never be a dinosaur so yell's new business model will certainly pull them out from the grave you speak of!!! Anyone who says a profit making company even despite large debts as having a 0p value clearly doesn't have a clue about what they are talking about, either! This is a good long term investment with massive potential at these prices! Even if it takes 10years to pay off the debt this could easily be back to the £s trading ranges! "Proves he was in for the long at a much higher price than today. And did you notice the hypocritical point of the value of the company, when we all know what he says about the value of the company today. ellhans |
