A rock and a hard place You have to hand it to the yanks caterpillar sales are doing well in north america. They are winning again because they die hard.I began my life here as a trader now turned investor a good plan yes at a working average of 8.5 p I doubled up at a time like this the investors look to be becoming traders.I believe in the shale story i believe i will make good money here but we need more solid investment fanning may have to give a bit more at this stage to big oil to get that solid supportthe realm aquistion put paid to his bargaining power. For now guys we are waiting some direction lets hope the rather thick skinned bod start talking to the markets with a little more respect whatever their present condition and throw a few rocks back. .......Errr soon lol. 2share55 |

searcher here's hoping pal. A stonking Talisman result is still on the cards regardless of everything else which has been a bit of a let down. |

Bessy yes I have heard that BUT if you look back at my posting history I have always said that this is a long term investment for me........ of course in my wildest dreams I could never have thought that we would really see 8p when I first invested never mind 7 or may be less depending what happens with Greece etc etc .... am I happy about it of course not..... I am just as ****ed off as all the rest of you, but I do believe that in the end SLE will come good...... |

searcher ever heard the "long term investment is a short-term trade gone bad"... well regardless, we're now trading 7p because 1) Realm buy 2) our tangible targets for future cash flow have been reduced to the Talisman drills (12 months ago we had, Poland, Moracco, Barryroe and Albania - 12 months on and the landscape has changed dramatically 3 of those prospects have faded, even the most die-hard investor here would have to concede that the only realistic opportunity for cash in the next few years is off the back of Talisman in Poland 3) wider market conditions. Agree 3 is out of the BOD's control. But 1 and 2...... |

Is It True Is it true that Oisin Fanning and Paul Sullivan are earning 50,000 pounds a month each? If it's true it's shocking. Time for a new board printer123 |

Bessy I really am trying to remain optimistic and positive and obviously I don't now believe that we are at this price due to just the Realm holders.......... we are here as we all know due to the general markets and things that we have no control over............ that 2 mil sell I am guessing was just a little bit more of the Realm holding being unloaded and I obviously am hoping like many others that their can't be that much left......... what ever happens here over the next few weeks is out of control of SLE just like all our other holdings............and like azzwill has just said I almost hope that we don't get good news yet because their is no way that we will see this rise how we all hoped until Greece is sorted and by the same token I pray that we get no bad news because if we get even the slightest hint of bad news we will be punished good and proper!! One thing that I still believe is that San Leon long term will give great rewards and even more so for those buying at these crazy levels and as I have always said this is a long term hold for me and if by chance I manage to find a little spare then SLE is where it will be going...... |

Re: SELL.SELL.SELL. The End is Nigh There are also several new pages in Polish, they seem to be educational, explaining environmental issues, addressing safety concerns, explaining how shale gas and fracking works. But I don't speak Polish. A few weeks ago there was hardly any info on Poland, certainly no statement of intent to drill more wells in 2012.Wish I had taken advantage of 7.75p today!Tick tock tick tockSid SidHonest |

sle Thinking of getting into this share again at these prices. Not sure if its gonna go lower though. I do believe its definitely one for the future. Its on peoples radars no doubt, just unsure as to whether people will continue to watch it fall before they make a move to get in. |

Re: SELL.SELL.SELL. The End is Nigh "Sid - not trying to be right after the event, but I just can't fathom why people keep pronouncing "the seller has gone".Looking at the selling going on today it seems to me that the seller is most definitely still here - maybe it's controlled so as not to tank the price too badly but someone is determined to offload."-------------------------------Could be many new sellers, (they are everywhere this week!) not necessarily "THE" seller? But I don't know. However 2 million went through as a sale today at 8p. the bid was 8p the offer was 8.15p so in fact the bid one, that is the buyer got his price, that is a buy not a sell. As I use DMA for trading I put MY price I want to pay on the bid side, when (if) it reaches the top of the bid pile it gets filled, I have bought, It always gets reported as a sell! You cant trust the data, which doesn't help us at all!Sid SidHonest |

Updated Talisman Website Details See The Last Line, Make of it what you will but I think we are due official news of a continuing partnership soon. tick tock tick tockSid"Talisman entered into a farm-out agreement in order to earn an interest in 3 concessions comprising of 627,130 gross acres in Poland. As of February 2012, an earning well has been drilled on two of the three concessions.Entry into Poland allows Talisman to leverage its North American shale gas expertise in a prospective area which is proximate to European gas markets. In 2011, a 2D seismic acquisition program was completed in Poland. In late 2011, Talisman drilled its first shale exploration well, and its second well was drilled over year-end 2011. A third well was spudded in March 2012.Talisman is expecting to drill further wells in 2012."[link] SidHonest |

Talisman That's the presentation I listen to the other day. Couple of brief mentions of Poland but as it is still at such an early stage it wasn't featured in the main presentation. The two main things I pulled out were that after this well there will be a pause for reflection before deciding what to do next and 1 slide I noticed that wasn't talked about but flashed across in the background and placed the horizontal drill in a 2013 time frame. Talisman are a huge company and I take great solace that they might also be assisting PNG in Poland. I hope they include some forward looking statements in the next RNS and to be honest, I hope they find a way to hold it off till after Greece is nailed down (or let loose) as we won't get our money's worth in the current market. (Plus I closed all my SBs this morning and ((sorry to be selfish but)), I'd be gutted to see this rise now). |
