hi puritas Good post mate. Thanks |

dstanley Hi Stan I think SCIB1 (Scancell's skin cancer vaccine) is potentially worth many billions in the coming years. The market for melanoma drugs is growing in value every year. By 2020 it will be worth around one and a half billion dollars and it will continue to explode after that. Melanoma is the fastest growing cancer and the most difficult to treat. GlaxoSmithKlein are still trialling second generation braf inhibitor drugs such as Dabrafenib for melanoma. Dabrafenib, which is only suitable for 50% of melanoma sufferers (those that carry the BRAF gene), can so far only extend survival by a few extra months and a little longer for a very few patients. Scancell's third generation DNA vaccine treatment for melanoma (SCIB1) is expected to increase survival for much longer and to completely eradicate the disease in some patients. People are telling me that Glaxo has its 'beady eyes' on Scancell and may be preparing to pounce! And don't forget Scancell's second vaccine still in development. Called SCIB2 and designed to treat lung cancer this will be entering a market worth billions already. The lung cancer drugs' market was valued at around $4 billion in 2010 and is expected to reach about $13 billion by 2020 ! After that who knows. All I know is that Scancell is already regarded the leader in the development of DNA vaccines and has already cured two patients of terminal bone cancer with one of its previous vaccines, so the mind boggles. I'm taking my stake in the future 'Cancer Vaccine Bonanza' now while the shares are cheap. Its going to make me rich. puritas It would be nice. That happens in the world of biotech so who knows. £2.00 is a realistic figure. I have read the pipeline is worth 500million along. |

hi brigadoon. Well said. I think what people write on here could potentially put people off. I have been in this share a couple of months and appears to be a solid investment so I keep adding. I think I will double my investment for sure. Vaccines are big business, I think that is the road glaxo go I could be wrong. |

Brigadoon Its also important to remind people that there could be a surprise bid for Scancell and these shares could go into orbit. Like you I've been topping up on these while they're nice and cheap. Thank Heaven for the Euro crisis...I LOVE IT! Hope there's a bid on Monday LOL, 'cause I'd be so rich. I've got 800,000 of these now so an offer of just £2 would make me an overnight millionaire! |

Carlton Can you please make it clear that you are speaking about Cyan Holdings and not Scancell when you say things like: "They still really need that one to take off, so it's still a punt. Not even the Fresh Prince would be crazy enough to bet all of his allowance but the last deal could ease the company's financial situation and stave off another cash call." N.B. Cyan has a habit of making cash calls on its investors, who are hoping it will all be worth while if they get lucrative contracts from India and China. Its important to stress for all visitors to this board that Scancell will not need to seek funding from shareholders and has sufficient money now to fund its operations up to the propose sale of the business. Scancell's directors stated in their latest financial report in January and reiterated in their Investor Presentation on March 13th that "existing funds will be sufficient to complete the SCIB1 Phase I and Phase II clinical trials without the need to raise further funds from Shareholders." The company intends to seek a 'trade sale' of the business upon completion of these trials. |

dug Big LOL to that one. The comments refer back to a request on 27th April when you yourself also joined in and asked for a sure fire multi bagger. You also mentioned PINN. Anyway I thought this was the OXB board |
|
dstanley 19 May |
hi dug yes it is I wish people would name the company they are referring to. |
|
Ddug 19 May |
This is SCLP board no? |
|
dstanley 19 May |
hi hello all, I hope you are having better luck than me about every share I hold in various company's is losing me money |
|
Carlton 19 May |
Jimmy, the recent India deal was a surprise but it now bodes well for the long awaited Indian TNEB tender result to come. They still really need that one to take off, so it's still a punt. Not even the Fresh Prince would be crazy enough to bet all of his allowance but the last deal could ease the company's financial situation and stave off another cash call. |

id you have a heads up on the India deal, uncle phil would be proud |

TheBoy1 You asked for suggestions for a punt on this board a few weeks ago. You may not have looked at my suggestion 'cos some other poster's comments may have put you off. It's 30% up since the date you asked. |

hi I have invested a few quid in here my self. There have been quite a few large trades. It just seems to be small fish selling and the larger ones holding lol |

Its Not Surprising Given the fact that Scancell's directors made it clear at their investor presentation that they were seeking around one billion dollars for the company its not surprising that those with money available would be buying these while they are so cheap. That's why I've been buying. After all, today's prices are at a huge discount to the 320p or so per share that investors will get if our directors hit their target! |

Nice £23,000 buy at 11p just gone through.... shows confidence in SCLP ... |
