Well Texas - Excellent Punty - No change as suspected - progressing well. T&T - No change. Georgia - Bloody thing. At least it looks as though Texas has come in good, hooray! Really wanted that to solid up the SP base.

Rad CLEAN fraccing pants I hope and not those ones from XEL days just pre-Xmas before last. A spectacular fraccing performance then and wouldn't like another blow-out like that one again.

As the nightbirds will know DP said last night: "Texas has just put about 100M on our MCAP". He'll be here later to get the drinks in. Georgia is doing a MATD and waiting for a drop more mercury. No prob with that. The North well in Poundland already with pipework and a pilot hole! Progress indeed.

Testing equipment? Forgive me for not being well up (no pun intended..) on drilling matters, but is it usual for testing equipment to be sent for as a matter of course at this stage of the drill, or have they sent for it because they have indications that there is, actually, something to test.....? Observation Drilling of the Shabeel-1 well is expected to be completed before the end of March and testing equipment is currently being mobilized to the site. Assuming successfuldrilling results, it is anticipated that testing results will be available early in the second quarter of 2012.====================================================================If this was a standard procedure why would you be looking to mobilise testing equipment at this stage and not already have it on site prior to the well being drilled?IMVHOCheers End of Time

Casing has been set in the well to a depth of 1,139mand drilling of the 12 ¼ inch section continues as planned. Assuming successfuldrilling results, it is anticipated that testing results will be availableearly in the second quarter of 2012. Upon completion of drilling the Shabeel-1well, the rig will move to the Shabeel North-1 well, where 30 inch conductorpipe is in place and a 50 meter pilot hole has already been drilled. These two wells represent the first exploration wells to be drilled in thecountry in over 20 years and will satisfy the first exploration period drillingcommitments as required under the Production Sharing Contracts for both theDharoor and Nugaal Blocks. In order to provide sufficient time to evaluatedrilling results, the Puntland Government has granted an extension of the firstexploration period expiry date 17 October 2012.The Puntland Government and Dharoor Valley communities are fully supportive ofthe drilling project and have ensured the Company that they will do allnecessary to allow the project to move forward safely and expeditiously.GEORGIA UPDATERange would also like to announce that, due to the severe weather conditionsthat have been experienced across Europe and Eastern Europe, the Joint Venturehas taken the decision to delay mobilisation of the drilling rig and ancillaryequipment to the Namakhvani well in Georgia to allow for more robust siteconstruction. The poor weather experienced since site preparations first began has impededadequate ground and road preparations to permit the safe movement of heavyequipment to the site. It was therefore decided to delay mobilisation untilconditions at the site are satisfactory. Texas upbeat "Albrecht well has been logged with early indications suggesting a 100+ ft gross pay zone, with casing now being prepared to be run prior to fracture stimulation and completion. Together, these two wells are expected to move significant reserves into the proved category, paving the way for future development."May be a knee jerk reaction either way in sp today - and there's US listing /Somalia conference to help keep the spotlight on us as TT reporting surely not far off.Surprised PL did not talk progress up a little more so perhaps an ace up sleeve ?Hope so. From RMP Encouraging as per:I work for a drilling contractor internationally and have found the time scales pinned on drilling programmes are never what the paper says and is always subject to an average of at least 10% delay On the last few wells I have been involved in we have hit on at least 2 structures on the way down the well and both times have stopped for wire logging, then cased the section and moved on. I Think that if they are making the effort to bring testing equipment then they must be at least a little excited of the prospect of what may be down there which i presumed has all ready been logged Bistable
