Quantum Dot IP infringements by Samsung price edging back down today (-12% at time of writing). Samsung’s official response in the pipe line? chunkier buys than sells though. probably a bit of profit taking going on but it seems the money is fancying there being more in this. a quick google search is turning up considerable media response to the action, Samsung are probably quite concerned and obviously uncertain of they’re actual position. I’m sure a company of their stature would have had something pre-prepared for immediate release if they’d had any inkling or expectation. so the longer the silence the more telling, i think.

Who is still selling NANO, at reducing prices... This is more encouraging now, and good to see much of their business protected by patents.

Who is still selling NANO, at reducing prices... There was an agreement with LG to use Nanofilm in their LG SUPER UHD TV range, with DOW to do the manufacturing, but it’s unclear whether this is still the case for these well priced new TVs which do give a spectacular, vivid colour, very high resolution screen - which can be seen on display in Costco at least.

Who is still selling NANO, at reducing prices... LG now have a range of Super UHD TVs with nano cell technology, their trade mark. Quality looks good, with prices competitive. Anyone know if NANO film or technology is employed?

Good News soon? Just been to Costco; several large super UHD screen TVs on sale for LG brand, which I recall planned to use NANO film technology. Exceptionally high colour & resolution through “nano cell” quantum technology at about £1,000 for a 65 inch screen. Is this NANOCO related?

Daily mail share tip, Midas Already hold NANOCO shares… but been a long wait for their nanodot film to be used in the main LCD production line for next generation smart TVs at prices lower than OLED & QLED based offerings. I see this changing in next 18 months at most.

IC tipping Nano again Sales should increase soon… thinking we have been waiting more on the TV systems integration, software and beta testing for the last few months now. The end result should be pretty spectacular with 4K (Ultra HD) resolution, Android OS, wireless Internet, etc. at affordable prices c/w top end oLED & Samsung QLED screen versions. Expect quite a variety of screen sizes, especially large, from many suppliers very soon now. How much revenue will flow to Nanoco is uncertain, but these TVs should be very popular and be the new baseline world-wide…

IC tipping Nano again Investors Chronicle says that although Nano has repeatedly made predictions it has failed to meet it should now be given the benefit of the doubt, and revenue should be multiplying shortly as commercial sailes actually begin to kick in. Highly speculative, they say. Just how I like 'em!

HPC_Follower 18 Jun 2018

Good News soon? Only two weeks to end Q2 now, so news from NANO due soon… suspect slippage into Q3 as software integration & testing is taking longer - but best to be released when all is fully tested and fit for purpose, not full of bugs… can’t be long now though…

Nano CEO Quits blah blah to fill out the line ridiculous OMG, HPC, you are right and I was mistaken. Thanks for the correction!

Nano CEO Quits blah blah to fill out the line ridiculous It’s the Chief Operating Office who is leaving, I guess because he has a better offer to go elsewhere… far more replaceable than the CEO, possibly through internal promotions.
