yakee Yes, they are not rushing here, steady methodical approach --("We still have additional work to do to complete the interpretation of the 3D data and prepare the licence for farm-out. This work will be completed in the first half of 2012 and the option of an industry partner will then be pursued. We will continue to consider other options to fund drilling costs".)-- im hoping to top up here from other investment Profits (always the optimist myself, especialy in this market !!), befor "ARG" take off. wraith/spineworks thanks guys interesting times ahead,my thinking is,they need to raise money through farm out,who better than rkh (of which im a holder)after rkh finalise there farm out/take over,i beleive that argos has a far better acreage than des,the amount of shares in issue makes for higher rewards on a successful drill,it would be good business for rkh to consider after it sorts itself out, think argos acreage starts at the southern edge of rkh,s acreage,i think beverly or casper |

the bigger picture This has been one of the worst single weeks since I began investing.I am comforted by a few things though about ARG that is different from most other shares I'm in.One only has to look at their neighbors' charts and it's fair to predict that something similar will occur with Argos - perhaps even more pronounced.Look at the MCap and compare to any of their peers pre-drill and you'll see that a 5-bagger even before the drill bit touches the sea bed is a real possibility from today's price.I will not make the mistake I made with RKH, holding too few shares bought under 50p - I am making sure I have a few hundred thousand shares well in advance of any campaign that I can trade out on spikes to ensure I have enough left over for a long wait on a free ride.Have a good weekend folks.NWPS. Yes, this is a ramp. NerveWreck |

16p support Looks like it's broken unless we get a push before close. Not adding just yet, would like to see it play out a bit first.15p should offer some support but after that there's not much before 11-12p range. All we need is a whisper of a rig and the whole game changes. NerveWreck |

2 plus 2 Either this looks like the cheapest buy around or the other Falkland prospecters full of the preverbial. This company is valued at a 1/30 of Rockhopper. Okay so Rockhopper have struck oil. Argos who are adjacent to Rockhopper have only carried out comprehensive testing although these days this is a pretty good indicator. Potentially they are sitting on a far greater vfind than Rockhopper. I would expect a farm out very shortly. At a very minimum this share should be at between £1.20 and £2.00. |

arg Argentina vowed to press criminal and civil charges on British oil companies exploring off the Falkland Islands if they do not "justify their actions" by a May 2 deadline. In its latest escalation of rhetoric over the disputed islands, Argentina said it had written to Falkland Oil & Gas (FOGL), Borders & Southern, Rockhopper, Desire Petroleum and Argos Resources on April 17, to "notify them of their illicit actions and their consequences. In case of failure to offer a response and once the deadline expires, administrative sanctions will be imposed to each company within the framework of an Energy Secretariat resolution which deems these activities illegal. The Argentine government will also press criminal and civil charges," it said, according to The Telegraph. |
